sheryllc56@yahoo.com BioTwenty-three years ago I was born near Subic Bay US Naval Base in the Philippines, to an American man and a Filipino woman. Genetics made me too tall, too pale, and far too curvy for an Asian. My culture has made me too Flipina to be Caucasian. I am both, in so many ways. I love my birth country. I think of it as home, just as my mother does. I also love my adopted country, the country my father is/was from. If I had not grown up here, my life would have been drastically different.
Moving on... I’m shy and quiet and self-conscious. To people who don't know me, that apparently comes off as bitchy and stuck-up. I am not those things. At least, I really hope I'm not. Once you get to know me, I’m not so bad. I'm generally a nice person. I care a lot about other people, sometimes to my own detriment. I just need to get to know you before I open up.
